I’m truly delighted and honored to not only handle the opening theme for "Fate/strange Fake" with SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], but also to be given the opportunity to collaborate with both Jean-Ken Johnny and TAKUMA.
It had been a while since I last worked with Jean-Ken Johnny, and as always, his voice was cool and powerful. His attitude toward thinking deeply about how to perform the song reminded me once again of his strength and sense as both a vocalist and a creator during the recording sessions.
And with TAKUMA, whom I collaborated with for the first time, his emotional approach pushed the contrast and intensity of the song’s sound even further. I truly felt the significance of working with the two of them, and I am very grateful.
I hope you enjoy the world of "Fate/strange Fake" in sync with this song.

I am honored to be able to participate in Sawano-san’s project once again. From the moment I received the demo, I was thinking, “The maestro has once again written an unbelievably cool song—what a genius!”
It goes without saying that the music Sawano-san creates is wonderful, but more than that, as both a performer and a creator, I always receive immense inspiration from melodies and approaches that I myself wouldn’t normally take.
Since this is my first time doing a vocal collaboration together with TAKUMA, it has become a fresh and exquisite song for those who already know us. Please make sure to listen!

●TAKUMA（10-FEET）
I was moved by the music Sawano-san had done for films, and when I mentioned it to Jean-Ken Johnny, the atmosphere of “please introduce me!” was bubbling up at full force, yet somehow I was never introduced. Then, one day, out of nowhere, came this unbelievable news: I’d get to do anime music with Jean-Ken Johnny and Sawano-san. That became the OP theme for Fate/strange Fake. There really are incredible things happening on this planet called Earth.
[Epilogue]
A long time ago, in a work for which Sawano-san composed the music—“Ah!? Isn’t this Janken!? And… Huh!? What’s with this guitar sound!!” The instant I heard the guitar sound in a track featuring Jean-Ken Johnny’s voice, I thought, “What the heck is this impossibly magical guitar sound!!!” And there I was—standing up with a popcorn bucket in one hand and the remote in the other, glasses tilted, popcorn spilling everywhere, bedhead sticking out all over, and my jaw hanging open. Not long after, the moment I met Jean-Ken Johnny, I blurted out right away: “You were singing—by any chance, do you know Sawano-san!?”
